Based on a 2 acre site on the outskirts of Manchester, Caterline is one of the leading manufacturers of thermoformed catering disposables for the food industry in the UK. Our products have been used throughout the catering sector for the past 10 years.
We are an innovative Company and are always looking at new ways to improve our products to match the ever-changing requirements of our customers and keep one step ahead of our competitors.
Customers return to us time and time again for the quality of our products and the superior service
that they receive from our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
2 years ago, we invested into our own extrusion line so that we could manufacture our own material from 90% recycled plastic. All of the products we manufacture are 100% recyclable and we actively promote and advocate recycling and re-use as being better for the environment than biodegradable or compostable packs which encourage landfill disposal.
Although we are a manufacturer and supporter of recycled plastic packaging, we recognise that our customers like to have access to different styles of packaging. We have formed strategic partnerships with other manufacturers of quality catering disposables to give our customers access to a range of all the most popular designs
We believe that it takes more than just having the best products to be the leader in our field. From the first time you get in touch with us to delivery of your order and beyond, we are confident that you will have to go a long way to receive better all round service.
Caterline Ltd recognise the importance of practising production techniques, manufacturing products and reuse of materials to minimise harm to the environment.
Apart from manufacturing our products from recycled materials and recycling all of our production waste we will continue to design packs that minimise the need for additional packaging materials or methods of closure which cause harm to the environment.
In each location nominated personnel are identified and are responsible for ensuring that health and safety issues are given proper attention. The communication of health and safety matters with our employees remains key to ensuring that standards continue to improve within the company.
The Company policy includes requirements for Risk Assessments to be carried out on all areas of our plant and activities, provide adequate training and instruction and eliminate or minimise risk of injury. This process is ongoing and the Company will continue to introduce best practice standards in all areas of health and safety.
We have internal procedures in place to ensure that the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the manufacturing process and have attained accreditation of the prestigious ISO 9001 Certification
From the raw materials coming into our factory right through to the blister packs been sent out to our customers we ensure that our quality standards never drop, allowing customers the peace of mind that the products they receive from us are the best they can be.
